  1. Why don't you stand under DAP ticket like your late father. Independent candidate very difficult to accept since the country is going for a two party system.

  2. Hi sir,

I am all for change in the federal (parliament) level. This however is a state seat. Do take note of the difference between the two seats.

If you can refer to FAQ #3: http://www.n34bukitgasing.com/p/faq.html I had approached DAP in May 2012 to propose standing under the DAP ticket as a Community Candidate in hopes that they would be open to the idea of working with the community as an extension of UBAH. However they were not open to the idea and already had a candidate in mind (but did a switch one-two weeks before nomination).

This campaign was originally planned with and for my father, and this would've been his campaign should he be alive today. He had felt that he could no longer freely represent the people and fulfill his mandate to the people while being in the party.

On numerous occassions he had his hands tied behind his back when issues that he was dealing with were of conflict between the party's interest and the people's interest.

If he were to fulfil his mandate and stand in defence of the people's interest, he risked disciplinary action for going against the party's interest. If he stood for the party's interest, he risked betraying the people's interest and mandate. This was the dilemma that he often faced while being in the party.

Hence a need for the people to rise up and unit with the community candidate to create political will.
